Hi, I’m Jules, founder of SALT + BEAR Pilates and I’m passionate about helping people to move better, build strength in their bodies and improve pain and restriction. I’m a firm believer that pilates really is for everybody at any age, whether you are looking to improve pain, increase energy levels or want to develop your posture, strength and mobility in general.
For years, I was in chronic pain with a TMJ disorder which led to nerve pain and restrictions throughout my body and that worsened post pregnancies. I constantly searched for the ‘answer’ and TMJ treatment only brought about minimal and momentary relief.
It wasn’t until I reignited my love for movement and started to find stability, strength and balance in my body through practising pilates that I started feeling life changing results; not only feeling better physically, but also mentally.
The studio is situated in the historic building of Berkeley House and is a calm and relaxing environment for you to practise in.
Fully equipped with a reformer, tower, ladder barrel, pilates combo chair and spine corrector (pilates arc) as well as other small pilates props. We are easy to find as we are next to Kenilworth's Clock Tower!
